Harrison had a great time yesterday, thank you for making the day run smoothly and everyone’s organising.
I just wanted to email and say a special thank you to certain players who took the extra time to make a fuss of the kids. His dad did the pre-match stuff with him and here’s their feedback.
Jamie Grimes – he was so friendly and encouraged pictures, he was asking Harrison what he thought the score would be, if he played football etc just went out of his way to make his day special.
Will Grigg – he was again friendly and made a fuss, and that was Harrison’s favourite player so I’m so happy as they say don’t meet your hero’s but he didn’t disappoint ????
Dobra – he walked out with him, one of his favourite players. Harrison said he was really nice when he got a bit nervous on the pitch and Dobra spoke to him and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze.
I know these players do this every week but to the kids it’s absolutely everything. They idolise these players and for them to put that extra bit of time and effort in meant the world to him (and us).
Please pass our thanks on, especially to the players above. It meant so much they made not only his day, his year in his words ????
