Leverton UK Commercial Interiors – a Platinum Friend of the Trust – have been refurbishing areas of the HUB.
Director Marcus Leverton has outlined the work that his company has been doing, saying: “The Trust were wanting to upgrade their facilities, so we’ve helped them out with that.
“We’ve renovated three of the toilets upstairs because they were looking really poor and dilapidated. We’ve re-done the executive box, that’s looking really nice now and that gets used day-to-day for Community Trust activities.”
Marcus emphasised the importance of helping the Trust, adding: “The stadium has been here for around 15 years now and certain parts started to look tired. So, over a period of time, we do need to start repairing things and making things look brand new.
“It’s important that we could get involved and we can get involved because we have a business that does refurbishments. It’s important to us that we try and go the extra mile to help where we can.”
Encouraging other companies to get involved with the Trust, Marcus said: “If you’ve got a company that can do electrical works, decorating or anything along those lines, then you can be a massive help to the Community Trust.
“You don’t have to physically give money. Instead, you can donate things that are relatively inexpensive to you that would be valuable to the Community Trust.”
