February Football Camps by the Community Trust are now available to book on our website, from Monday, February 16 to Thursday, February 19. There are mixed, girls and goalkeeper camps available.
The Trust’s Liam Coles, who runs the camps, said: “We hold our football camps up at Outwood Hasland Hall. It should be a really, really good occasion. Hopefully we get lots of people there, outdoors, playing football all day.”
Speaking on the importance of running these camps over school holidays, Liam said: “I think in an age like today, where we have a lot of kids who will go home in the half-term and spend the full week on a PlayStation, an Xbox or an iPad, it’s vital.
“To get children out and keep them active for six and a half hours, playing football, engaging, socialising and enjoying themselves. I think that’s a really, really important thing.”
