During the EFL Week of Action, club legend Sean O’Neill spoke about his involvement in organising monthly get togethers to support former footballers who suffer from dementia.
The Spireites in Mind programme was set-up to bring together former players and their families in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
The former Spireites who regularly attend the meetings, which are held at the SMH Group Stadium, include Frank Barlow, Colin Prophett, Bill Dearden, Andy Kowalski, Mick Henderson and Colin Tartt.
