Sitting Exercise

The Trust’s attempt to break the world record for the largest sitting exercise class brought together people from across the community in a unique and memorable event.

Held at the SMH Stadium, the session involved participants of all ages, from school children to older adults, highlighting the inclusive nature of the Trust’s activities.

The event was designed not only to achieve a record but also to raise awareness of the importance of accessible physical activity. Chair-based exercise sessions provide an opportunity for people of all abilities to stay active and improve their wellbeing.

With over 1,200 participants, the event demonstrated the strength of the community and the Trust’s ability to bring people together.

Regardless of the final record outcome, the event was a success in promoting health, inclusion, and community engagement.
