EFL report measures impact of clubs in the community

The headlines of this report tell us the following:

• A total of 1.1 million participants were engaged during the 23/24 season.

• 465,601 sessions were delivered to participants over 890,878 hours.

• A social value of £1.24 billion was created during the 23/24 season.

• We have been able to analyse data that breaks down the social value contribution across physical health, mental health and wellbeing, social and community outcomes and education, training and employment.

• Related to outcomes, this value can be directly related to annual cost savings, for example, a £14.45m saving to the health service related to reduced incidents of diabetes.
