The annual fundraising ball organised by Leverton UK Ltd in aid of the Community Trust raised a total of £25,577!
Held in the SBK Spires Restaurant at the SMH Group Stadium, the black tie event featured various fundraising initiatives including an auction.
Organiser Marcus Leverton said: “I would firstly like to express the gratitude I feel for the people of Chesterfield, to our wonderful community and to my friends and family for their help, support and kindness.
“Year in, year out, they are so generous at my fundraising events and even in times of economic uncertainty they still give with all their hearts.
“The amount raised is the result of so many people in the community coming together with a desire to help. The difference that this huge sum of money will make to the Trust is immeasurable.
“Thank you to everyone who helped and let’s hope we can keep the momentum going in 2025 with our November 28 event.”
Jayne Bacon, head of community at the Trust, commented: “We are so grateful to Marcus Leverton and his team for their support for the Trust and his commitment to helping us deliver more life-changing projects at the Trust.
“This money will help us reach more families in need through holiday clubs, hampers, groups for those who are lonely, affected by cancer, needing support to recover from addiction and to offer access to football and other sports to ALL through inclusive and accessible programmes. Helping us to reach our aim of making a better Chesterfield!”
