Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of football to inspire children aged 5–11 to learn, be active, and develop life skills in and out of the classroom. Delivered by Chesterfield FC Community Trust in partnership with the Premier League, this free programme is designed to support schools across Chesterfield and the surrounding areas.
By embedding sport into core subjects like English, Maths, and PSHE, the programme connects classroom learning to real-life experiences, promoting resilience, confidence, teamwork, and a love of learning.
What’s Included
Curriculum-Linked Learning:
High-quality teaching resources and lesson plans across English, Maths, PE, and PSHE, developed by education specialists and aligned with national curriculum requirements.
Engaging Delivery:
Our trained community coaches bring activities inspired by football to life, helping pupils connect learning with their passions and interests.
Life Skills Development:
Children gain key skills like communication, empathy, respect, teamwork, and perseverance – all within the context of sport and real-world challenges.
