Former Chesterfield goalkeeper Chris Marples was the latest special guest to make an appearance at a Buddy Buddy meeting.
Marples, who also played cricket for Derbyshire, spoke to the group about his career in both sports.
Buddy Buddy meetings are held in the HUB at the SMH Group Stadium, providing veterans with an opportunity to get together in a relaxed environment.
All veterans are welcome to attend the meetings, which take place from 6pm on the last Thursday of every month.
