Spireites stars Liam Mandeville, Zach Hemming, Alex Whitney and Ashton Rinaldo visited one of the Trust’s Football Camps during Easter half-term.
The players took part in a series of challenges with the children. Community officer Liam Coles spoke about the visit, saying: “It’s fantastic to have the players come in. It’s really good to bring the Trust and the club together, and the kids absolutely love it.
“It’s great when the players come, and they get involved. It puts a smile on the kids’ faces. When we say that the players are coming, there is a lot of excitement in the room, and we have to really calm the kids down, but it’s so much fun.
“The kids are smiling, hopefully the players are smiling, and us coaches are smiling as well, so it has been a really good day today at Hasland Hall.”
Liam also commented on the success of the Trust’s Easter Football Camps. He explained: “It’s been really successful.
“I think we’ve had about 50 every day, so really good numbers over Easter. We’ve had returning customers, new kids, so I’m really happy with how it’s gone.”
