We’re putting on a Sports Media Workshop for aspiring young sports journalists during the next school holiday.
Taking place on Thursday, October 29 in the HUB at the SMH Group Stadium, the day includes a chance to have a go at match commentary and interview a Chesterfield FC player!
The workshop provides a great insight into life as a sports reporter for young people who are considering a career in the industry.
A number of past participants are now working for sports media organisations and football clubs.
The workshop is led by Nick Johnson, who has a wealth of experience in sports media, including 30 years as a reporter on Sky Sports’ popular Soccer Saturday show.
