With support from Leverton UK, the Trust is offering Chesterfield families affected by the floods *free access to Chester’s Den, with a free meal for parents and children. Shower/changing facilities are also available, if required.
Trust staff and volunteers are also providing support to Lifehouse Church, with teams of people assisting in the clean-up operation.
Jayne Bacon, the Trust’s chief operating officer, said: “We were all shocked to see the devastating effects of Storm Babet and our hearts go out to those who have been affected.
“We are keen to do what we can to support the great work being done by Lifehouse Church, helping people in the community who have suffered.”
