The Trust is supporting a Twixmas Fun Run which is taking place on Sunday, December 28, to support CSALS.
Organised for the period between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day – known as Twixmas – the event is being put on in partnership with Cannon Events and is kindly sponsored by J&R Self Storage.
Those taking part will meet in the HUB at the rear of Chesterfield FC’s SMH Group Stadium, with the cafe open from 9am.
A four-mile run will take place from 10am, taking in two miles alongside the canal and two miles back. A 1500m kids’ fun run around the perimeter of the SMH Group Stadium will start an hour later.
The cost of entering is just £8 for the four-mile run and £6 for the kids’ 1500m run, with a medal presented to all those who finish. Children from the age of seven can take part in the four-mile run, although those under the age of 11 must run with an adult.
