As part of the Trust’s Thr1ve Social Prescribing programme, there is a weekly video game group which has become a really positive space for young people to build confidence, develop friendships and connect with others in a relaxed environment. The group welcomes young people from a wide range of backgrounds, including many who are neurodiverse, and it continues to grow.

We’re looking to improve the experience for everyone attending. At the moment we only have enough gaming equipment for around four young people to play at once, which means others often spend time waiting for their turn.

If your organisation, or anyone you know, has any unwanted gaming equipment they would be willing to donate, we’d be incredibly grateful. We’re looking for items such as consoles, controllers, games, monitors or other gaming accessories that still have plenty of life left in them.

Any support, no matter how small, would help us create a more engaging and inclusive experience for the young people who attend.

If you’d like to find out more or think you may be able to help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via socialprescribing@cfcct.org.uk or call 01246 925115
