The Trust’s Debbie Dance and the Knit & Natter group are hosting a 24-hour Knitathon on Saturday, June 20, in the Ernie Moss room at the HUB, which will be an open event from 10am-4pm.
The event will raise money for CFCCT and to help with funds for a local young girl, called Maggie Barnes, who is in need of a new Tiny Trax wheelchair to help her with independence, and to help towards adaptations to the family home.
You can donate by scanning the QR Code below or clicking this link: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/knit24

From 10am until 4pm, individuals are invited to come along and have a go at knitting/crocheting a square or a heart, which will then be used to make a community blanket. The hearts will be used for the annual Suicide Prevention match next season. Knitting needles/crocheting hooks, wool and patterns will be provided for people to use on the day.
Alongside the knitting/crocheting, expect teas and coffee (for a donation), a tombola (£1 for five tickets) and a raffle (£1 per strip).
Please note that booking is not required for this event. Feel free to turn up on the day and help in raising money for a great cause!
